From the band that split up and reunited. One two three four. Next to the Zeke You DVD, there’s this Live & Uncensored album out. Mostly live; with a few unreleased studio tracks (check out “Malibu”). I honestly don’t think you can really capture a Zeke live experience but it sure is a nice attempt.

Most of the live tracks are recorded straight onto DAT, without any post-production magic. So what you hear is Zeke the way they’re supposed to be heard.

No frizzles, no tricks. The majority of the live tracks have been recorded during a set of support shows for Pearl Jam. With a decent sound quality and super tracks like “Highway Star”, “Twisted”, “Dogfight” and “Schmidt Value Pack” on the bill, Zeke’s speed-metal-injected punkrock will surely make its future spins in my cd-player.
