Gangstyle does it again. Or better: Redline does it again. The band’s anger inducing metalcore ripps through you like a blunt saw. And you know what that means. Exactly. Fat double bass drumming, furious on the cymbals, catchy yet chunck chunck power chords and heavy on the ‘I spit blood vocals’. Everything on A Portrait Of A Mirror Image speaks simplicity. The art work, the production, you name it. | |
I don’t mean that as a negative cause there’s a 100% emphasis on the songs here and rightfully so. Perhaps a little too much Slayer influences sip through, although not in a ‘we can’t do it ourselves’ kind of a way. Redline deliver good, abrasive metalcore.
