An unoriginal band name predicting as much as: ‘this must be played loud!’ Scandinavian rock ‘n roll from a couple of guys that look as if they come straight from the early sixties: garage rockabilly meets heavy Wild Hearts and Hellacopters. Not unusual as Hellacopters producer Thomas Skogsberg sits at the wheel. The band toured with Gaza Strippers and The New Bomb Turks. It kinda gives you some direction where to place the band.

Straight ahead kick-ass rock ‘n roll without surprises, and without compromise on this second album (their debut “Riot Salvation” was released in 2000).

Sometimes the drive in the more aggressive songs is a bit too much present, because of the piercing rhythm guitars. This doesn’t do justice to the solos, which can be called quite spectacular for the genre. In a more melodic song like “Sparkle” this is more in balance. As for the two mid tempo songs (“Come A Day”, and “We Ain’t Going Nowhere”), there is still some work to be done: somewhat boring despite the nice bass hooks. If you’re into Gluecifer, Hellacopters, Gaza Strippers, or Peepshows, this might be worth a try.
