What caught my eye in the preview of this band was that they were compared to, among others, Led Zeppelin. Before Robert Plant starts shitting himself, let’s see if it they live up to that comparison. The album has a very psychedelic cover which screams 1972, but the music is in no way as dated as the artwork. The guitars have elements of rock from all decades starting with the 60’s and sometimes they have an air of Queens of the Stone Age and Red Hot Chilli Peppers to their sound. The last track even has a blues-rock feel to it. Most of the album has an upbeat rock tempo throughout, except for "Time in Space", which sounds a little sterile and boring.

Luckily that’s the only stumbling block to be found; as the album picks up again with the tracks "Deadman" and "Control". I finally hear the Zep connection in the song "Deep end". There’s a drum/acoustic combo similar to Zep`s "Boogie with Stu", but to go comparing them to that band is jumping the gun a little. All in all a good listen, can recommend it for the hard-rock fan. Those of you still hunting for a second Led Zeppelin will have to wait another while I’m afraid...
