These Texans seem to have a fierce live reputation. Listening to “Something To Crow About” you can imagine a pit with a sweating and moshing audience. High energy party punk rock full speed ahead. The album contains thirteen catchy tunes, which sure can work out very well live: party time. Musically the band has got some nice arrangements, and the guitarists have some nice ideas to add to each other.

Their development sometimes seems to have gotten faster than the singer, who is a bit too staccato shouting at times.

Maybe the production is not underground enough for the diehard punk rockers, as this is pretty accessible. Also the ‘surf’ lullaby “Lottie Mae” can be called a strange choice. Anyhow, all in all a very catchy album, suitable to party.
