Strange mechanical intro; but then the first straight-on rocker called Yummy is coming through your speakers. What an appropriate song title to start the album with. It’s a promise of what you’re gonna get. Songs that mix the best of Tragically Hip, Black Crowes and Pearl Jam are coming to your ears. Ten songs in the good old tradition, with a nineties sauce.

They’re not just putting bits and pieces together, but they’re writing good songs with enough diversity, and still creating their own sound and direction. Especially the guitars and vocals are very intense, and fortunately not overproduced. Having seen them on stage, I can say: go see this live; it’s even more convincing than the CD.
