Superbutt is a band from Hungary, who already played with big names like the Rollins Band in several venues in Europe. The second album of the band is called The Unbeatable Eleven, which sounds a little bit arrogant to me. But as the album kicks off I quickly feel they might be right, because the first song (“Pioneer”) is really a well sounding and well played song. But as the second song rings through my speakers (“Spilt Milk”) I fear I have to change that opinion. Thankfully the next song is again unbeatable, with guest vocals from Juci (Anima Sound System).

Her voice sounds really cool with the guitars. The producers of the album didn’t do a really good job though. At times the guitars are a little bit too loud, with vocals too soft or the other way around. However, for as far as the artwork is concerned you should buy the album. They placed a real nail in the album cover, next to drawn nails. Looks really funny. The fact that there aren’t eleven unbeatable songs on the album but only five is of lesser importance.
