| FALLING SILENCE |
Dogs Life 15 tracks - playing time: 54:50 min.
Sonic Rendezvous Rating: 7/10

Ever imagined a merge of Sepultura and Slipknot with a very wild Skin (Skunk Anansie) on vocals? Well, Falling Silence comes close. Sonic Rendezvous signed the band because of their album Dog’s Life (recorded last year) and a demo (Another Year, Another Dollar), with a few promising tracks.
All possibilities are used to express anger and aggression: from sinister and hooked arrangements, grunts and shrieks, tortured instruments, to a hint of electro. | |
The musicians are up to their heavy task, and the production, which did not take away any sharp edges, makes it all sound very convincing. Vocalist Lore has got a great throat used in criticizing lyrics, and her aggressive yells are impressive, although her (also great) clear vocals often get pushed aside by all that expressive anger.
