Ah! Aggressive old school hardcore! Made the way I like it. And from The Netherlands, so a little bit of pride is what we have. Payback from the province Brabant has risen from the ashes of classic bands like Violation Of Trust and Outlaw. So quality is guaranteed.

Wiseguys from VOT was one of the better HC cd’s from The Netherlands, so if you liked that album, you can buy this one for sure. The same voice (Marco), with the same aggression and passion. This is the way hardcore is meant. Backing vocals, aggressive voice and some guest singers (Pat Backfire!, Dave Reumers, Joost Discipline etc.

), The whole album has a sort of family atmosphere. Also , the passion and commitment of the four members is so evident, you can almost feel the energy they ventilate.

Unfortunately the lyrics are a bit simple, something you run into often in the HC-scene. I won’t make a big problem out of it, but sometimes I wonder if there really wasn’t anything else to sing about. Like on “Forget About It” and “Movin On”, it almost gets infantile. However, the energy makes up for it completely. Like I said. A great hardcore album. Nothing left to say. Get it.
