John Wesley is probably best known in the rock scene by his recent collaborations in the band of Fish and as support to Marillion (coincidence?) on a couple of tours. The most recent Fish albun `Fellini Days` features a lot of his songs as evidence of his songwriting talent. This is his 4th solo album already and although the references to Fish music are audible, Wesley is very capable of writing music for himself and give it his own personal touch.

Singer/songwriter like, catchy songs with beautiful lyrics. It reminds me of Rob Lamothe and sometimes also of Rich Wyman. Groovy, bluesy music with great hooks and convincing arrangements. `Chasing Monsters`, `Fly Boy`, `Who We Love` and especially `In Sight of The Rainbow` are jewels and I hope to see John and his band live in action soon to see if the already songmaterial can lift itself even higher. It certainly carries that potential namely.
