Dutch hardcore veterans No Turning Back are back on the map with their sophomore release Damage Done. The band’s riff driven old school hardcore is a punch in the face, with singer Martijn at the helm. His personal no bullshit lyrics are spit out with the fury of a madman. Backed up by forceful catchy riffs and drum work that redefines the vitalizing breakdown.

Like many Gang style bands (NAOP, Born From Pain, Knuckledust) No Turning Back also joined forces with Tue Madsen at the production helm.

A good choice since he not only respects the hardcore purity of NTB, he still adds a certain personal flavour to the bands sound, handing them all the ingredients for a whopper of an album. Highlights are “Take Control”, Mentally Ill” and “I Owe You Nothing”.
