I had high hopes for this album. Don’t ask me why, perhaps it’s the striking band name. Who knows. But as Unclean made its spins in my player, singer Bishop annoyed me beyond belief with his boring, uninspiring vocals. An occasional decent hook, not ‘big enough’ guitars, everything bordering on just not good enough. A lot of dreads and tattoos on angry looking young men who desperately hope that this album will be their break through.

Yeah right. My god, if you want to do the hybrid electronical/industrial/metal trick you NEED antagonizing vocals and musical ideas that make you go Yeah, now that’s a fucking fist in the face. Unclean is a slap on the cheek.
