Named after the Bulgarian soccer player Stoichkov, these 3 guys decided to make some punkrock.
With the same precision that Stoichkov had in his shots, they give you 3 short punkrock songs with a shit load of energy and playing pleasure.
Normally, I hate vocals sung in German. I just can’t stand the language, but sometimes (and I mean really sometimes) it works well (Oomph!, Das Ich, Wohlstandskinder). And on this demo, it works well. The first song “Nieder Nitnidi” has some cool vocal lines, with some aggressive melody which you can also hear in the work of bands like Good Riddance and As Friends Rust, just more punk styled. | |
The other 2 songs are in the same vein, “Billy Ocean” has some aggressive drum work which adds to the aggression of this EP.
With a better production and a few more songs with catchy yet aggressive elements, they can possibly join the top of the European punkscene. And that is not some euphoric comment of me. Listen to it on www.stoitchkov.tk.
