This is definitely not the most original band ever to cross my path but Gone Without Trace sure deliver the goods. A mix of hardcore and metal riffs with influences from bands like Madball, Earth Crisis, Pantera, Machine Head and a little bit of Fear Factory. And apart from the lack of originality I can’t find a lot wrong with this debut album.

But I’m not over excited either. These guys sure are talented; the riffs are ok, they sure can handle their instruments and they’re tight as well. If they could develop their own sound or style they might get far.
