For a minute there I saw The Dragons crash face down into my ‘albums to forget about box’. Cause opener “Whoa Yeah” sounds so thin and uninspired it kinda puts you in the wrong vibe from the get go. However, on the following track, “Life Is Cheap”, The Dragons pick up the pace, turn up the volume, clear their throats and push the pedal (four clichés in one line, I know). And the good part is, they keep rock and rolling it up ‘til the very end, putting you in a good mood for sure.

Ideal for parties, drinking binches and family BBQ’s. By the way Rock ‘n Roll Kamikaze is not a new album, it’s remastered, remixed and re-released (originally in 2001), but most of all Rock ‘n Roll Kamikaze is a fine introduction to this San Diegan foursome. High lights: “C’mon” and “Crying”.
