Psychologists have proven long ago that all the things we do have a bearing on our personality and lifestyle. Here´s a wonderful instance for this axiom. My Revenge´s first full length album called “Less Plot, More Blood” is a hardcore signature of those wild personalities, which form a band. This is a raw, down-to-earth and aggressive answer to all those emo, screamo bands and also to any manner tendencies of current music business. This three year old band from Vermont has already shown their temper, having released one album “Both Feet Over The Line” on Element Records – vinyl only! They just wanted to say they are true fans of the wax format. Touring and skating all the time (they are true skateboard fans), musical terrorists on stage, loud and troublesome off stage, on this CD they present everything you can expect from them. This is an excellent hardcore CD; fast and raw.

What´s really remarkable, is that these guys play with such rage (just listen to Spencer’s screams in the self-titled Less Plot, More Blood), but they do it very professionally. Guitars sound pretty good,as the bass and punk vocals. Sometimes backing vocals are not synchronized, but it just adds to the “live” sound effect. Lyrics of My Revenge are angry and somewhat sincere, as Spencer states they are “a very punk rock state of mind” and they believe that “Hardcore and punk rock are one-in-the-same thing. Hardcore is about more then just the music, it’s much deeper than that and it can provide and outlet for people who never felt like they “fit in” or people who don’t see eye to eye with all the corrupt bullshit out there, and who want to change it. ” Well said, and if you have the same attitude you will definitely be able to appreciate this release.
