This has got to be the best DVD I’ve seen so far; the camera work is of a very high quality and especially the colors of the DVD are awesome. The case of the DVD is already a marvel to behold with awesome artwork and familiar faces from Lord Of The Rings. Of course the most important part is the content of this disc and that is well above par too. Imaginations Through The Looking Glass features a 140 minute long recording of the Blind Guardian festival in 2003 with no less than 20 songs among which classics like “Mirror Mirror”, “Nightfall”, “Valhalla” and many more, as well as a bonus disc.

The sound quality of this DVD is great and hasn’t been polished into oblivion. Blind Guardian have managed to capture the true live atmosphere that makes these kind of recordings so special.

The response of the audience is truly overwhelming and listening to the aforementioned “Valhalla” is a goose bumps filled experience. The same goes for the final track “Mirror Mirror” too.

Of course Imaginations Through The Looking Glass features the mandatory bonuses like an interview, a behind the scenes section, an image gallery and several bonus tracks. All in all a must have for any self respecting Blind Guardian fan. This very well polished two disc package is definitely worth your money, that I can guarantee you. Let Blind Guardian take you on a trip through Middle Earth.
