Tales Beyond Oblivion is the first full-length offering from these Greeks. The band started in 1995 and the original name of the band was Bloodshed. After three demos and a couple of line-up changes, the band changed their name to Everdome. While the first two demos were more in the trash, speed and power metal direction, their third demo (The Crown) combined all kinds of styles.

The Crown was well received in the underground scene and the band seemed ready for their debut album. Near the end of 2002 the recordings for Tales Beyond Oblivion were finished. But, oh the irony, no less then three members left the band.

Without a singer, bassplayer and rhythm guitarist it’s very difficult to go on, but somehow Everdome managed to get over this loss. The three former members have been replaced and the band is busy writing new material. Something which I’m actually looking forward to.

As said before, the style on Tales Beyond Oblivion is very diverse. It varies from trash to power metal. With the exception of some of the vocals, the album is actually pretty good. In their homeland of Greece these guys are said to be scene leaders, whatever scene that may be.
