Guitarist Cyril Achard is a leading force in the French progressive metal scene. This album is full of technically complex music (like Dreamtheater, Symphony X etc.) and has somewhat like an 80`s touch because of the virtuosity of this master guitarist (remember Vinnie Moore, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman etc.?). Also Tony MacAlpine was one of the guitarheroes of the 80`s and guess what? He`s guesting on 3 songs of this album (keyboard solos in "Empty Vow", "Fields Of Graves" and "Be My Thing").

Too bad that the vocals from Patrick Peek aren`t that convincing. He`s a good singer but his voice doesn`t really add anything extra to the 8 tracks on this cd. If you`re into technically complex music, then "In Inconstancia Constans" definitely is something for you.
