Sodom, one of the very first German thrash metal bands, appear to have everything but calmed down in the twentieth year of their career: "M-16" is a loud and brutal thrash metal album. The lyrical theme of the record deals with the horrors of the Vietnam war. In May of this year, the band visited both Asian countries, travelling Thailand and South Vietnam to get a first-hand impression of the country which still bears the scars of a devastating war. The trio consisting of Angelripper, Bernemann and Schottkowski prove to be as politically committed as ever.

Wanna bang your head while listening to some fine 80`s sounding thrash? Then songs like "Little Boy", "Napalm In The Morning", "Lead Injection" (cool one! 6:21 minutes of pure thrashing energy) and "Minejumper" will be perfect for you. Watch out for the two bonus tracks "Witching Metal" (from the 1982 demo "Witching Metal") and "Devil`s Attack" (from the 1983 demo "Victims Of Death").
