John5 worked with a lot of artists; Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Halford and Judas Priest are some he worked with. But the most important of all until now for him is Marilyn Manson. He played with Manson on the albums: Mechanical Animals, The Last Tour On Earth, Holy Wood and The Golden Age of Grotesque. John’s first live performance for Marilyn Manson was on the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2004 Manson kicked him out of the band and after that he started to make his own album, and that’s the one I have here in my hands.

Vertigo has no vocals, so only instrumental songs. The music on the album is pretty far from Marilyn Manson (expect for maybe two songs). John plays really varied stuff; it is not just heavy but there is also some western and party music to be found. John is a great guitar player but he should choose what kind of music he really wants to make instead of writing one number from every genre.
