This band from Massachusetts has been around since `98, and having been sent their latest release to review it is my first ever encounter with their music. What can I say then? The Uncoming Storm doesn`t sound bad, but offers nothing extraordinary either. What it actually deals with is pure and simple metal core, and I would say that I’m aware of numerous acts like this.

.. Check Unearth out though, in case you’re simply interested in sheer dynamics in music. The Uncoming Storm also comes with a live video clip. The sound quality is decent, and the front cover looks fascinating in some kind of an apocalyptical morose way. Bands that Unearth has shared the stage with include names like In Flames, Chimaira, Soilwork, Lamb Of God, etc.
