Never heard of this band before - it hails from Cincinnati (OH) and was formed in 2002 by members of Estuary Of Calamity, Garden Of Shadows and Forty Days Longing. "To Exist And Endure" is the band`s debut full-length album, and I am more than certain that it will appeal to all death metal connaisseurs!
Even I, although feeling kind of detached from releases referred to that genre lately, loved what these guys have made; all the 10 tracks turned out to mirror the perfect combination of extremity and diversity, and if this is not clear enough that the Estuary are NOT solely for the riot itself, then I don`t know what`s clear! What is even more amazing here is that these utterly brutal growls were done by a female (Zdenka Prado), and (with no trace of feminism here) I dare say that her vocals sound way better than many MALE ones!!! The CD layout is quite impressive as well, and the person responsible for it is Mike Bonatch (Dew-Scented, Psychotogen, Rotting Christ, etc). | | (Vanya) |
