Backlash is a band from the Netherlands is among us from 2000 among us metalheads. Early 2004 they recorded this first full lenght. When the first song started I thought that it was going to be simple metal but that´s really not true. You can compare the music with the mid-tempo from Amon Amarth.

The voice of Dennis also sounds a bit like Amon Amarth`s Johan Hegg. Don´t get me wrong, this band is not a copy of our viking heroes.

This band has got longer intro´s and more solo´s in the music.
The last song on the album is a cover from the Johnny Cash song “Folsom Prison Blues”, which they gave a nice sound.
“The Binary Choice” is a nice album , recorded, produced, mastered and mixed by the band itself, and they did a good job.
