This is some crazy shit! The first few seconds of this album and I think I’ve got my “house classics” CD mixed up. Apart from Skinny Puppy and maybe touches of Pitchshifter I’ve never heard such a blend of dance and death. I must admit I wasn’t that into the genre before but this is absolutely brilliant!

The outro to the first track sums up the paradoxical combination of genres. Trance/house synth beats are accompanied by pounding double bass drumming and non imposing yet crunching guitars. If nothing else, these guys deserve a pat on the back for just attempting to merge the two genres.

And blend them they do. I’ve heard attempts at this before, but just token synth noises accompanied by regular metal. These guys actually blend them seamlessly together to produce quite an original fresh sound.

The only bad thing isn’t really a bad thing but a testament to the music, with only 5 tracks I was left wanting more! A seriously good promo and good to whet the appetite till the full length is released.
