THE ALMIGHTY

This band with singer/guitarist Ricky Warwick was founded in 1988 and they released 5 albums since then. Influenced by The Cult, The Ramones and Motörhead, The Almighty have now written 14 new rock songs. After some changes in the line-up (Stumpy Monroe-drums, Nick Parsons-guitar and Gav Gray-bass), these were recorded by producer Daniel Rey (The Misfits, The Ramones) in New York.

This album has its exciting moments ("Begging", "7 X"), but in general "Psycho-Narco" is pretty dull. Benificial to this are the vocals from Warwick. He doesn`t have the greatest voice and there`s almost no variation. The bigger part of the songs are just average, nothing special really.
