The famous "No Sleep `Til Hammersmith" album topped the UK charts on its release in June 1981 barging the likes of Cliff Richard, Starsound and Duran Duran out of the way in the process. Kinda cool, huh? Close to 20 years since that remarkable fact, this is still one of the greatest live albums you`ll ever hear. Over the years its lost none of its power. Like Lemmy himself, this record has grown in stature and it remains a vital and timely reminder of how dangerous rock`n`roll is meant to be. | |
This special edtition contains a completely remastered (remixed by `fast` Eddie Clarke) version of the album, plus a bunch of rare live tracks like "Over The Top","Fire Fire", "Bite The Bullet/The Chase Is Better Than The Catch" and "Shoot You In The Back". The new version of "No…" is problably the closest you`ll come to re-living the sheer intensity of catching Motörhead at their most relentless, both on and off stage. To all you Motörheadbangers: buy this one! (Johan) |
