Hah... Never been into bands like this, to be honest... The Heartbreak Motel was formed back in 2000, and "Nine Lives Of A Tiger Cat" is their second studio album. What it deals with is jolly punk rock of which the atmosphere supplies the listener with the best possible clue of what the perfect soundtrack of a teenage / college escapades based movie should sound like. Fast-paced tempo, straightforward guitar riffs and vocals ranging from juvenile optimism to adolescent angst - that’s all what we have here. | |
Of course, I could feel that the band members learned playing at least, but this definitely is not enough to change the fact that records like that are not for me. But if you do enjoy stuff like that, feel free to check out "Nine Lives Of A Tiger Cat"! (Vanya) |
