German guitarist Michael Schenker joins The Scorpions when he is 15 years old, leaving them to become a member of UFO when he`s 17 (around 1972). By age 18 he`s asked to audition for the Rolling Stones, but refuses and continues with UFO. They record six albums including the classic live lp "Strangers In The Night". He`s been voted nr.1 guitarist in 9 countries (!) and one of the most influential guitarists of all time. UFO is one of the most influential bands of the 80`s, but due to personality clashes, Michael leaves the band to play on the very succesful "Lovedrive" album from The Scorpions in 1980. Again, Michael leaves the band from his brother Rudolf and then starts his own band MSG, the Michael Schenker Group. This band is also very succesful and Michael is asked by supergroups like Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne and Deep Purple to join them, but he doesn`t give up his own career. After a whole lot of MSG albums, he again joins UFO in 1995, to record the strong "Walk On Water" CD and tour the world.

With his own band, he then records another few albums and so we finally reach the year 2001. "Be Aware Of Scorpions" is his latest release and it`s a very good one. Just listen to opener "No Turning Back". The cool main riff and superb solo in the middle are simply fantastic. By the way, the MSG 2001 are: Michael Schenker-all guitars, Chris Logan-vocals, Reverand Jones-bass and Jeff Martin-drums/vocals. Other cool songs are for instance "Blinded By Technology", "Reflection Of Your Heart" and "Age Of Ice". The album was recorded, produced and mixed in the studio from Michael Schenker himself at Phoenix-Arizona, USA. Last song "Eyes Of A Child" is something special, it contains the children`s choir from the Mission Montesorri Academy. This is a strong album from a unique musician.
