After a hiatus of a few years, Arkangel is back! After releasing the “Dead Man Walking" album, which got a lot of positive as well as negative response from the hardcore scene. There were rumours about the band, that they were hardline vegan etc. And after that, there was silence.
But now, 2004, there is a new effort from the 5 Belgians. And you thought “Dead Man Walking’ was brutal? Well, listen to this cd, this will fucking blow you away.

Musically, they sound more metal, musically as productionwise. The music has more death metal riffs from bands like Suffocation, Dying Fetus as well as some black metal bands.

They combine that with a hardcore feeling and according to the time, they still have one leg in the HC.
They recorded 11 songs. The first song is an acoustic intro, which is too long. They have to fire their agression, and it is OK if you use some kind of silence or easy moment, but more than two minutes is too long. But after that, all hell breaks loose. Songs like ‘Let You Unloved Parts Get Known’ (awesome breakdown at the beginning), ‘The little People’, ‘How We See The World’ wouldn’t do bad live. What am I saying, this will destroy the place.
