This four track demo by Disinfusible was recorded almost half a year ago in a regional studio. Taking in mind the average age of 21 and the somewhat flat production of the album, one might say that this band has got the opportunity to grow. The main target of the band is to make fame as a creative and innovative Dutch rock band. I’ll give them creative since the guitar riffs, the vocals and the way sections interconnect are far from well thought of. You can only be innovative if you have a great influence on, and an inspiration to other musicians. This is something I don’t see happening in the near future. | |
The main reasons for that are the horrible synthesizers and the vocals. At times I get the feeling that I’m listening to the music from an old MSX video game! The vocals lack control and give you the impression you’re listening to a drunken man.
On the band’s homepage I read that the demo is already antiquated and that the new songs are heavier and more experimental. If you wish to check this band out I’d suggest you wait until the next demo is released and pray that the second demo will be much better than this one. (Geert) |
