War Wir Wollen is the first ever record that I hear from The Ancient Gallery and the fourth item in the discography of this outfit from Dresden, Germany. Well, what I am listening to right now is a blend of Rammstein, Oomph! and Das Ich on the whole - I definitely couldn’t call this release bad, but it shines with nothing that peculiar either, in my humble opinion. Also, need I mention that the lyrics are in German? It’s possible that I am underrating The Ancient Gallery with these words a bit, but I haven’t heard anything else from them before, so I presume that if I get the opportunity to hear other stuff from the band one day, I might change my view regarding their music.

Otherwise, the MCD itself features the “War Wir Wollen” title track plus 3 remixes of it (by In Strict Confidence, Haujobb and Leahakim respectively) as well as the “Nirgendwann” song as a bonus track. What I could mention in The Ancient Gallery’s favour anyway is that the guys did remixes of Das Ich’s "Der Schrei" and Terminal Choice’s "She’s the Devil".
