The Italian psych rockers OJM filled another album with quite heavy guitar orientated sixties rock ‘n roll. A job nicely done, mainly because of the old fashioned sounds (the album was recorded in an analog studio) and the popular brit pop approach. You could consider OJM as being a link between early Stones and Supergrass, although the latter is a bit more melodic. The music could as well have been written for a Tarantino movie because of the combination of power and retro grooves, one of the biggest efforts of The Light Album.

I’ve heard that these guys are planning to play Europe in the first months of 2005. You should consider checking these guys out. I’m expecting a very energetic and dynamic performance that should be great fun to watch and which should be nice to listen to.
