Carnal Rapture started out as an old school death metal band, though they had a clear liking for the Bay Area thrash scene. After a couple of line-up changes and two demos, the band almost had to quit, due to the fact that they couldn’t find any new and fitting members. It never got that far because after a little while Carnal Rapture had a new line-up.

In that line-up, with Emilio Trilló (vocals/guitar), Fabio Colucci (bass guitar) and Daniele Belardo (drums), the band recorded their latest feat of arts: Promo 2004. The promo has two songs on it, which is not much. Actually, it’s not enough to get a clear picture of what this band is capable of. Sure, the band is very technical and plays tight as hell but are they capable enough to fill a full length album with this music? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. I only hope that the new songs sound a little less chaotic than these two songs.
