I think the name Miseria will inspire many reviewers to exclaim what this name is a good description of their music. If this should be the case, I have to agree with them.
What Miseria offers on “Silence Within” is gothic metal in the tradition of thousands of other demo-bands who are trying hard to follow in the footsteps of Nightwish, Within Temptation and maybe even Evanescence. All the clichés are present: the childish female singer, the sissy male singer, the standard guitar parts and boring keyboards.

The production also leaves a lot to be desired but for a demo-recording it’s sufficient.

I’ve heard this many times before and sadly, I’ll hear this many times more so I think I can suffice by saying that you can better spend your hard earned money on something worth it, unless you’re a die hard fan of the genre and wish to own all releases.
