Infinity Divine is a re-release of the 2000 debut album by the Scandinavian power metal band Pagan’s Mind. The original release was produced by Ronny Le Tekro and didn’t completely satisfy the band mainly because of the poor mixing and recording due to the limited time available. So when Limb Music offered to re-release the debut, Pagan’s Mind demanded that
all vocal lines had to be re-recorded and the original recordings had to be edited, re-mixed and freshened up in order to represent the quality for which Pagan’s Mind stand for today.
To make this re-release even more interesting for the fans of the band (of course) they added two bonus tracks. | |
The first “Embracing The Fear”, the second a King Diamonds cover “At The Graves” which doesn’t sound that different from the original song.
So after all the unnecessary re-releases of the past couple of months - why do most of them get released around Christmas one wonders - Infinity Divine proves to be worth re-releasing. Time and effort was spent on making this re-release worth buying for fans as well as for people unfamiliar with the band. This time the band has got a proper label, giving their debut the attention it deserves resulting in a massive sounding power metal experience. (Geert) |
