Tearabyte leaves little room for subtleties with their straightforward eighties thrash metal. Unfortunately there isn’t much positive to be said about this release. The production is rather weak, the vocals are weak and the songs are simply too boring. There’s little variation and most of the tracks lack any appeal whatsoever with boring choruses and rehashed guitar riffs.
At times I’m wondering whether to take this band serious or not and when listening to the bonus track, which is pretty damn hilarious, I’m puzzled even more. | |
The live parts of the bonus track are pretty funny with hilarious passages and are well worth a listen if you happen to be a fan of these guys.
Unfortunately, I can’t really advice this release to anyone. Sure, it’s old school thrash metal but it will bore most people out of their skull. There simply isn’t enough variation on this album and most of the stuff you’ve heard a few billion times before. Add to that the pretty weak production and vocals and you have a pretty sub par album.
