After the first spin I would have described Touch The Sky as an average album, mostly because the thoroughness of the four tracks on the EP. After a couple of spins I know that this wouldn’t have done Miss Behaviour justice. The four tracks are very different and therefore give you a good impression of what this band has got to offer. The band even has some surprises up its sleeve. The way the bluesy balled “Nothin’ Left To Say” turns into a compelling rocker is quite genius song writing. | |
That this band isn’t shy of some experimenting becomes obvious with the final track “Dream On” where the band shows a more funky side. The sound of the EP is remarkably clear, especially considering the fact that Miss Behavior is just a small cafe and cover band from the Netherlands. My advice to them would be to drop the covers and focus completely on their own writing. Touch The Sky sounds pretty good. (Geert) |
