Opening with the title song, nice riff, good hooks, and then it starts to swim. It can’t keep my attention, and that’s the fact with most songs on this album. Some good starts, but getting boring or confusing about the direction of the music. (from AOR to stoner, and anything in between, but never worked out properly) After having heard the 2 track demo, I still can’t get used to the strange vocal lines. Often getting the impression the singer is trying to do things he shouldn’t. Especially the backing vocals and the vocal dubs are an attack to your ears. | |
(Don’t) Try to listen to the Grease cover Electrifying, or Improved Razorblade, because it makes you feel you’ve swallowed some.
Some good basic ideas, a creative guitarist with good wah-wah use, but that’s not enough to be able to listen to the whole album. You can’t deny the individual quality from the band members, and given the history of them (ex 7 Zuma7), and opening shows for Peter Pan and Hallo Venray, it’s a shame to come up with this album.
