A band of the calibre of Six Feet Under needs no introduction. Every death metal fan knows the band, or at least front man Chris Barnes. The band released two classics so far, and I’m not talking about Graveyard Classics 1 and 2, but about Haunted and Warpath. So you can understand that I was very happy when I was to be the lucky person to review this album.
The one question spinning through me all the time was: “Can they exceed Haunted or Warpath?” I mean, Maximum Violence was a mediocre old school death metal album, I gave True Carnage a chance and I never listened to Bringer Of Blood. | |
Well, to say that I’m glad that I am in the position to review 13 is quite an understatement.
This album kicks major ass. It’s not Haunted but who cares. Fact is that Six Feet Under is back with a great album and that’s that! And it’s really nice to hear up-tempo double bass and shredding guitar riffs (Lars) |
