Alas, the curtain has fallen for the German Gothic metal band Crematory. After 10 years during which they released no less than 7 albums, the “Crematory” will finally stop smoking… The reasons for this decision are too numerous to mention (you can read all about it at their site www.crematory.de). As if it were their last breath, so to speak, Crematory will release the album “Remind” containing a collection songs written throughout the decade of the band’s existence.

All sixteen songs on this farewell compilation are live recordings. Each of the seven albums is represented by 2 songs. As we have grown accustomed to, Crematory’s, the lyrics vary from English to German. “Remind” forms a good image of the band’s career these 10 years. It’s a suiting way to end a career as ‘one of the leading bands’ in German Gothic Metal. A ‘must have’ for fans or a good introduction for those unfamiliar with Crematory’ sound.
