I had high expectations of this new CD, so I couldn’t wait to listen to it day and night, my first impression of the intro was that it sounded very sober and depressing, but when rain started number two on the CD an adrenaline rush crushed my body, I wanted to destroy my room with the biggest moshpit you can imagine. God damn that sounded great; guitar riffs that make you shiver, drums that overwhelm you like a wave, and the improved voice of Matt Heafy touches your sensitive string. And this energy keeps going for the rest of this album.

This band from Orlando, Florida did it again and even better this time. They`ve toured with Machine Head and Iced Earth as well as played dates with Killswitch Engage, Fear Factory and others. You can describe this music as thrash from the 80 and 90`s, and reminds of the glory days of Metallica, Slayer, Pantera and Testament with immense melodic pieces and even the guitar solos are amusing. This new album from Trivium is an excellent piece of art and it will bring Trivium to the top.
