I don’t know of it’s a miscommunication or a mistake by the Dutch postal services, but I received the ‘Blueprint’ demo of Nettlethrone only a couple of days ago. Nonetheless I received a fine piece of music.

According to the informational flyer this should be a demo, but listening to the production of this little silver disc you wouldn’t say so. I’ve heard some full length albums which had a worse quality than this demo.

This, of course, says something about ‘Blueprint’.

Musically I would describe it as melodic death metal, but not the kind of melodic death metal you come across in the USA and Sweden these days. So don’t expect clean vocals and an overdose on harmonies here, because these youngsters from Turkey sure know how to convince me.
