This is the third album from these German Industrial metallers. This is the first time I hear something from this band and considering the name of the band and the album I expected some kind of cheesy make-up band with Marilyn Manson/Das Ich like music. Das Ich is one band that has left some traces on the music of Das Scheit. Just like Paradise Lost, Clawfinger and Godhead. The music is somewhat a mixture of those bands.

Music that is drenched in sphere. The song lines which are both whispering and crying create a curtain of sphere.

Songs like “Much Deeper”, “About U”, and “Splinters” also have some influences from Type O Negative. But above all, the mastering of this album is perfectly done. It is done with many layers, and surprisingly done by ‘Eroc’ who also worked with VoodooCult and Tic Tac Toe (!).

This CD has surprised me in a positive way, don’t be blinded by preconceptions and prejudice, this album has some quality. And while Type O Negative are standing still, Clawfinger are not what they were, Godhead is near dead, this can be a perfect substitute.
