“Doing Bad Things” is not the first album from Spitalfield but unfortunately I have never heard of this band so I don’t know any of their earlier releases. “Stop Doing Bad Things” was released out though Victory Records and I have heard some nice releases from this label lately. Spitalfield plays pop, rock, emo and sometimes the music has a little bit of punk influences. I don’t think this is music for the average visitor of this website.

While listening to this album you can hear that these are some good musicians. All songs are played well but the music sounds, in my opinion, a bit too poppy. With this type of music they can reach a lot of kids. On the back of the album it is mentioned that there’s some enhanced stuff on this album. I couldn’t find it, maybe it’s because this is a promo. But I’m curious what it is. So if anybody sees it, let me know.
