Antigama hails from the Polish grind scene and have already a couple of releases under their belt. “Discomfort” has been previously released on Extremist Records in 2004. After singing to Selfmadegod Records and before releasing the third full length that is scheduled for later this year, “Discomfort” is now being re-issued to pave the way for its successor.

Antigama play grindcore but not in a familiar way. It’s not porn-grind, gore-grind, death-grind or any subgenre you can think of, nor is it standard grindcore in the Napalm Death or Carcass way.

“Discomfort” is a slab of fast technical industrial metal induced grindcore with crazy breaks, odd samples and tons of energy. The vocals are especially to my liking; a hysterical grunt combined with a deep rusty grunt.
