Meris is a band located in the San Fransisco Bay Area and this is their second three song demo. I never heard of this band until now (maybe that’s because I’m located in the Netherlands). The music on this demo sounds a little bit like everything and nothing. Is it metal or rock? The music is played well but this band really has no style (is style an important thing?).

The songs are catchy and they stay in my mind for a few hours. I hope to hear some more stuff from this band in the future, maybe then they have chosen what kind of music they want to make. Check out this demo for yourself at their website: www.merisband.com.
