After a single, some new signs of life from Dutch Rap metal act Born Loco. There aren’t any directly new things in the music on this EP. They still deliver some energetic nu/rap-metal with direct links to One Minute Silence, Body Count and Primer 55. The quality of the production is better, and that is a bonus because this kind of music has to be played loud with some quality sound.

Keyword for Born Loco is: Groove. In all of the four songs there is a groove that bands like Deftones and Dreadlock Pussy also possess.

Only, aforementioned bands have more diversity in the music. That can be a disadvantage for Born Loco. On the other hand, Born Loco has some sphere in the guitar riffs (especially in ‘All There’s Left’). So it will be break or make this year for Born Loco, and I will wait for a full length before I give my final judgement.
