For someone not familiar with Los Natas, the “Munchen Sessions” comes as a huge surprise. Coming to think of it, “Munchen Session” would have been a better title since both discs were recorded on one and the same day! Usually this is a bad thing, but since most of the music is rearranged old material completed with some spontaneous jams, there’s no better way to record this Los Natas album. One of the characteristics of the psychedelic stoner music is the diversity, the excellent climaxes and the laid back and mellow intersections.

It will probably take over a thousand spins before these Munchen Sessions get boring. Both discs feature two cuts of 20-25 minutes each. The sound is raw and powerful during the rougher sections and clear during the more gentile sections. This release comes highly recommended to early Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath fans. Listening to this album makes me glad I joined Rockezine a couple of years back, otherwise I would have definitely missed out on this excellent release.
