My first impression, after listening to the first track, was that this one wasn’t going to score more than 3 out of the possible 10 points. A raw sound and strange vocals are not the elements I prefer to listen to in music. It didn’t take long for me to discover the beauty of “Sakada” though. The unpolished jams, the spine shivering vocals and the heavy mellow approach all add up to one of the most interesting releases of this year. This is actually one of the first convincing metal releases that combines psychedelic and dramatic elements in such a way that it all makes sense.

You won’t get bored with “Sakada”, there are just too many interesting aspects on this album. This unique sound isn’t tangible and that is in fact the beauty of “Sakada”; a piece of art. I should warn you not to buy this album without listening to it. You either love or absolutely hate it.
